TCP Recertification Course (Langley)

Recertification and Eligibility Requirements

• All TCP’s with valid certification are eligible to re-certify at any time.
• TCP’s have 6 months from the date of expiry to complete a recertification course. If you certificate has been expired for over 6 months, you will be required to take the 2-day training course.
• Should your TCP Certificate expire you are unable to perform Traffic Control until you have taken the recertification program.

Please Note: Should a student be unsuccessful in the recertification course the student must take the 2-day course.

Certification

Once completed, each graduating student is issued a three-year certificate that allows them the ability to work anywhere in BC as a Traffic Control Person. This is recognized by WorkSafeBC as a valid High-Risk Traffic Control Person certificate in the province.  There is an exam that requires a minimum score of 80%.

The duration of this course is 8 hours.

**Please Note: If you are already registered for a class and you go to one of our other locations, in error and are late to your course, you will not be permitted into the class. If your class is on the weekend, please be advised there will be no office staff in to monitor the phones. Please ensure that you arrive at least 15 minutes early for your class!**
